Article Publication Charges
NanoScyentist is open access and free to read. To cover the costs of editorial handling, peer review management, production, DOI registration and archiving, an Article Publication Charge (APC) applies to accepted articles.
Charges
The APC depends on the World Bank income classification of the corresponding author's country:
| High-income countries | USD 100 |
|---|---|
| Middle-income countries | USD 50 |
| Low-income countries | USD 30 |
When the Charge Applies
- There is no submission fee.
- No charge is made for manuscripts that are not accepted.
- The APC is invoiced only after acceptance, and payment is required before publication.
- Payment of the APC has no influence on the editorial decision.
Waivers
Authors who are unable to pay may request a full or partial waiver at the time of submission, by writing to nano@scyentist.com. Waiver requests are decided independently of the editorial decision.
Refunds are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
