Editorial Guidelines
These guidelines describe the editorial standards applied to everything published in NanoScyentist.
Editorial Standards
- Published work must be original, scientifically sound, and supported by the data presented.
- Conclusions must follow from the results and must not overstate their significance.
- Methods must be described in sufficient detail for the work to be reproduced.
- Every reference must carry a DOI or a direct link to the exact source cited.
Copyediting
Accepted manuscripts are copyedited for clarity, consistency and journal style. The authors' own wording is preserved wherever possible: editors correct errors of fact, grammar, citation and formatting, and do not rewrite the substance of the work. Authors approve all changes at proof stage.
Proofs
The corresponding author receives a proof before publication and should return corrections promptly. Changes at this stage are limited to errors; new material is not added.
